Welcome!

Hello everyone, my name is Katie.  I am a native New Mexican transplanted into the desert outside Las Vegas, Nevada.  I learned to cook from many women (and men) over the years.  New Mexican food is NOT Mexican food or vice versa although there are similarities.  I hope to post recipes and instructions on how to achieve authentic flavor at least once a week!
